Virat Kohli looks a lot more calmer and happier since he announced his retirements from Test and T20I cricket. While he retired from T20I cricket after last year’s World Cup, he announced his Test retirement just before the England series started.
Since his retirement, he has been enjoying his life with his wife, Anusuka Sharma and his daughter in London. He even went to watch the Wimbledon during India’s Test series against England.
There is still enough time left before Virat Kohli returns to the pitch playing ODI cricket for India, along with Rohit Sharma. India have ODI matches lined up against South Africa and Australia lined up later this year after their tour to Bangladesh was cancelled.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were spotted walking casually dressed in London. For the fans, the sight of Kohli walking in London without the media being behind him came as a pleasant surprise. The former Indian skipper had previously spoken about shifting abroad after his international career. Currently, he seems to be staying in London, far from all the attention from fans and media. A few fans reacted to the video as well.
Recently, a picture of Kohli with his grey beard went Viral on social media. Fans were sad to see him in that state, fearing that he might announce his ODI retirement soon. Previously, Kohli had also spoken about colouring his beard every other day, hinting that his playing days for India are coming to an end.
Meanwhile, in a recent conversation with Ranveer Allahbadia on his YouTube show, Dr. Sriram Nene, Madhuri Dixit's husband, spoke about how Anushka once spoke to him about moving to London to raise their kids in a normal environment.
“I have a lot of respect for him. We’ve met him multiple times; he’s just a decent human being. I’ll tell you something, and this is what you learn: they all put their pants on one leg at a time. We had a conversation with Anushka one day, and it was very interesting," Dr Nene said.
"They were thinking about moving to London because they can’t enjoy their success here. We appreciate what they go through because anything they do attracts attention. We almost become isolated. Anushka and Virat are lovely people, and they just want to raise their kids normally," he added.
BCCI Looking To Phase Out Rohit, Kohli From ODIs
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli’s ODI future also looks uncertain with speculations that the upcoming ODI series against Australia in October could be his last. The BCCI are not keen on both Kohli and Rohit playing till the 2027 ODI World Cup as they are looking to build the team for the future.
